My granny stripe!

I've been working hard on my granny stripe blanket.  I really, really love this pattern!  It's so fun and easy to do in front of the television.  I've just finished my 58th stripe of color.  I was going to make it to snuggle under in the living room but my husband has talked me into making it bigger to put on our bed.  I love that he likes it that much!  So, I'm going to make a total of 100 stripes of color and then 3 borders.  Should be nice and big for the bed!  I'm really hoping to get it finished by Christmas!!  I suppose that will be an excuse to just watch tv and crochet for the next few weeks....I like that idea! :)

Bye,

I love it!!! With the days getting shorter I am getting more done in the evenings. I bet you can finish before Christmas.

I love your granny stripe blanket. What crochet pattern are you using. This looks fun to do and also easy. Great way to use scrap yarn also.
