Well, I ended up chickening out of the quilt party last weekend. I was nervous because of not knowing anyone, although I do realize that by going I would've gotten to know people better. Plus, I am still feeling pretty unsure about my health. I plan on going to the meetings and eventually I'll be brave enough to go to a quilt party!
I got some deliveries today. One was from Susan in TX. She's a member of the Sunshine Yahoo group and offered me some of her orphan blocks. They are so great!!! I can't wait to start playing with them. She also included some pieces of fabric that look big enough for backings. Here is a picture of everything.
I also got a delivery from Clothworks Textiles. I can't believe how generous some of these fabric manufacturers have been! Again, if you're looking to purchase some fabric, think of Clothworks Textiles!! Here is a picture of the fabric, there are both kids prints and some traditional stuff too.
