Brynn & Amie - "Made with Love" Sponsor

I am so excited about the upcoming Made with Love Giveaway event!  There are lots of great bloggers taking part and you are going to have tons of wonderful opportunities to win some really amazing products!  Today I want to introduce you to one of them.

Brynn & Amie Artisan Food & Gifts is a wonderful collaboration between two friends that decided to go into business together. They now spend their days in the Outer Banks of North Carolina combining their artistic and culinary skills together to create fantastic treats for us to enjoy!

I was fortunate enough to get to try two of their creations. The first, Evil Nuts, are a handmade mix of whole pecans and walnuts, with a light caramelized coating of brown sugar and spices.  Crystallized ginger adds that gourmet touch. To quote Amie "This gourmet nut mix was christened "evil" by a local chef, because he couldn't stop eating them!  They've been known as Evil Nuts ever since."  I knew when I requested them I was taking a risk because I don't normally like anything that is spicy. But the Evil Nuts, as opposed to the Very Evil Nuts, have less of a kick.  Unfortunately, they were still too hot for me. The funny thing, though, is that I shared some with my brother & his family who loved them. Even their children, Dominic who is in first grade, Aubri who is in kindergarten, and Landon who is in preschool, loved them!!  I guess "Aunt Lisa" has too sensitive of a taste, lol!

The second item I got to try was their Karma Krunch Granola.  Made with pure maple syrup, full of healthy fruits, nuts and seeds, and only slightly sweet, it is lighter and toastier than other commercial granolas. I absolutely love this stuff!! It's delicious! I eat it straight out of the container with a spoon. I think it sounds good on a banana too, like they recommend on the website. I've never tried commercial granola because I didn't know if I'd like it. Now, after eating Brynn & Amie's I know I won't!  I can't imagine anything comparing to their Karma Krunch Granola!
