Fleece Blanket - Fleece Throw Giveaway #1

Yay!!  Time for another giveaway!  As I have mentioned before, Crooked Brook also offers custom embroidery, which is the method of decoration they use to make personalized fleece blankets, and baby blankets. Of course, they also offer wholesale fleece blankets and wholesale fleece baby blankets.  Sometimes embroidery mistakes happen, and as a result, they have perfectly good fleece blankets that are now classified as second quality blankets. A fleece blanket with a smudge on it that could be washed out also becomes second quality. Whether it is an embroidery mistake or a smudge, they can't send it to a customer.

I would like to announce that these second quality fleece blankets will now be offered as weekly giveaways on this blog!! The colors and sizes of these second quality fleece blankets will vary, because there might be some whole fleece blankets, fleece baby blankets or fleece blankets with the embroidery mistake cut off.

Of course, if you are interested in purchasing some second quality fleece blankets at a discounted rate you can email Crooked Brook at info@crookedbrook.com to see what they have in stock. Please be advised that all second quality fleece blankets are sold first come, first served, AS IS and are not eligible for an exchange, return or refund.  Don't worry, though, you will not be disappointed!

There are many things you could use these second quality fleece blankets for. First, if the smudge can be washed out, you may be able to use the blankets as they are.  If not, you could make fleece scarves, booties, slippers, hats, pullovers, pillows, vests, or lots of other items.  Another great option would be to add crocheted edging around the outside for a great blanket.  Of course, if you feel so inclined, I’d love for you to use them to make something for Central Ohio Binky Patrol, but that is not required!

The prize being offered today is two, 50” x 60”, 100% Polyester, Taxi Yellow fleece blankets.  Here is a picture (click to make larger)…

Awesome right?!  So, here are the rules..

Contest ends midnight (eastern standard time) 07/08/11,
Prize will be shipped to winner within 30 days of contest end.
You must be 18 years or older to win.
US residents only, recipients must be a resident of one of the 48 contiguous states.

Let’s make it fun this time!  These fleece blankets remind me of the Pittsburgh Steelers, which are my very favorite football team.  In order to enter, please leave a comment below (with your email address!!) about who your favorite sports team is.  Of course, if you aren't a sports fan just leave me any comment you'd like!  Also, for a second entry into the drawing, blog about the giveaway on your blog then come back and leave a second comment with the link.  Winners will be chosen at random. Please be sure to include your email address as well so we can get in contact with you!!  Have fun!

Also, if you use Twitter or Facebook, please help spread the word!  Here is a link directly for Crooked Brook if you’d like to tweet/post about them too - http://crookedbrook.com/custom-embroidered-fleece-blankets.htm!

BTW: To find out how you can get a 5% discount from Crooked Brook, contact them here - info@crookedbrook.com and tell them “Lisa sent me” ; )

I am a fan of the Fighting Okras at Delta State University in Cleveland, Mississippi! This would make a good backing for a dorm quilt.
