Another Quilts for Kids kit

Since I got my first Quilts for Kids quilt finished so quickly, I decided to request another one. I figure I might as well fill the box up with quilts before I send it back. So far I have two finished, plus the kit I just got today. And then I'll make a fourth one from some Heartstring blocks. The kit came today and I LOVE the fabrics!! When my daughter, Ashley, was little her room was decorated with 101 Dalmation stuff. I would've loved to have had this quilt back then!

I found out some exciting news today too. There is a local charity group that is very active and I'm going to join. It's called Newborns in Need. They have work days every Tuesday and meetings once a month. They make quilts and other things for babies. I'm super excited! I love the idea of helping out people in need right here in our community. The next meeting is this coming Wednesday and I'm going to attend as long as my husband hasn't had his surgery.

We go to the surgeon tomorrow at 3:15. Hopefully we'll find out when his surgery is going to be scheduled. Please pray for us!
Bye,

What a great idea to put a bunch of QFKs in the same box! I hadn't even thought about that, but you're right...those quilts go together super fast! Thanks for the inspiration!
