Working hard today!

I've been sewing up a storm today! I finished three different tops for my Sunshine group. I'm going to start a box of tops to send to one of the quilters on the list. These are my first additions. I made them from the kits that Ann in CA. Next I'm going to work with the crumb blocks that Missy in NY sent me. I sure love working with crumb blocks, they are so fun and easy!

I decided to call this one "Baby Crumbs" because the plain blocks have pictures of little babies in bink and yellow. I think it's fun too because of all the crumbs that usually come along with babies!

I called this one "Sunny Days". The plain blocks are made of the brightest orange fabric with random suns and flowers all over it. It sure made me think of summer while I was putting them together today. Of course, it's still cold and snowy outside so summer is quite awhile away still!

Finally, I called this one "Purple Mountains". The plain blocks are made out of a print with cowboys and indians, plus the border fabric is a pretty purple. It just made me think of purple mountains so I went with it!

We're going shopping for new clothes for our daughter tomorrow. She's lost 40 pounds!!! And as a result her clothes are all hanging off of her. She wants to lose more so we aren't buying everything yet. But we plan on buying atleast alittle bit of everything. She's doing so great and I'm so proud of her! Of course, since shopping with a 16 year old girl can take all day I probably won't be sewing any tomorrow. Maybe on Thursday though!

Bye,
